Pay your bill using Smarthub, our user-friendly, on-line bill-pay system!
To begin receiving a paperless bill you must first have on-line account access to SmartHub. Once you receive access, you can begin receiving paperless billing.
All bills may be paid by return mail using the return envelope provided or by addressing an envelope to:

Online payments for Gas, Electric, and Propane
Checks, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted. Allow two business days for processing before your payment will post to your account.

Bills may be paid at the main office located at 1500 Granville Road, Newark, Ohio, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (except for holidays).
All bills may be placed in our night drops located at two locations: 1500 Granville Road, inside the member service entrance; 11339 Mt Vernon Rd., Utica, Ohio at the Licking Rural Electrification, Inc. building located on the north side of the building. (Payment should always include a copy of the billing or account number along with the check or cash payment as well as the name on the account and service location.)
Automatic Bill Payment
To begin automatic bill payments, you can select this option after you have completed making a payment through our automated phone system. To make a payment, dial 1-800-255-6815.
You may also select the automatic bill payment option in SmartHub.

There are also several banks in our area which will accept The Energy Cooperative bill payments such as:

Some important steps to follow when paying your bill:
- Pay Amount Due by the due date
- Paid after due date has a 5% penalty added to the amount due
- Include lower portion of bill with payment
- Put account number on check on memo line
