Round Up Grants Awarded in October

In October of 2017, The Energy Cooperative Operation Round Up Foundation, Inc. awarded $45,499 to the following community groups in our service area:

  • • Licking Valley Music Boosters toward a trailer for equipment
    • Mental Health America of Licking County toward a passenger van
    • Transitions, Inc. for air conditioners for the shelter
    • The Carr Center for an air conditioner and furnace
    • Licking County Coalition for Housing for repairs and windows to the transition home
    • Thorn Township Fire Department for bullet-proof vests
    • Hospice of Knox County (North Central) for Alzheimer activity aprons
    • Sew Special Network for dehumidifiers
    • Perry County Elementary/PTO for iPads and cases
    • Hopewell Township Fire Department for twin beds

Lane Closures in Newark

The Energy Cooperative will be working on the natural gas pipeline system in Newark at the corner of King Road and Sharon Valley Road beginning November 7, 2017 and continuing until the project is complete.
